An experienced counselor and litigator, Mr. Germinario has particular expertise in technically-oriented fields of law. In addition to his law degree from Rutgers University, he holds degrees in physics and engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and is licensed to practice as a Professional Engineer.
Mr. Germinario was admitted to the Bar in 1978. As Deputy Attorney General of the State of New Jersey (1978-1981), he obtained multi-million judgments against corporate polluters in precedent-setting lawsuits. For the next six years (1981-1987), he was a corporate attorney for two high-tech Fortune 500 companies — eventually rising to the position of Vice-President and General Counsel.
Since 1987, Mr. Germinario has operated his own law firm. The firm’s clients include major chemical, engineering and manufacturing businesses, as well as government entities. Currently, his practice is concentrated in the areas of Intellectual Property — including Patents, Trademarks and Copyrights — and Land Use/Zoning. Mr. Germinario is admitted to prosecute patent applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He currently serves as the Planning Board Attorney of Roxbury Township, Board of Health Attorney of Chester Borough, Land Use Board Attorney of Andover Township, and Planning Board Attorney of West Milford Township.
In addition to his corporate and government clients, Mr. Germinario specializes in serving emerging businesses. He has had particular success in helping novice inventors obtain patent protection for their ideas and fledging entrepreneurs establish trademark protection for their products. A large part of his land use practice is devoted to the needs of small-to-medium sized developments, both residential and commercial.

All legal services are performed at an hourly rate of $300. For litigation matters, a refundable retainer of $5000 is required.
